Earths Own Enemy ( Older Poem )

earth’s own enemy

the earth has no feelings
it can’t control its emotions
raining and snowing when it feels right
many sunbeams light the sunglasses of the earth
while man can be his own worst enemy

gardeners massage it gently with the hands of a baby
tornadoes and floods heat it up
pulling out years of beauty
stretching its waters to reveal a solid earth

philosophers go deeper into its jungles
uncovering bits and pieces
cures that fix our modern society
awakening our senses
bringing them back to the realities of a torn earth

cameras see what eyes can not reveal
showing us the beauty of God's land
all gods creatures great and small

developers slash through wilderness
bulldozers go deeper into the path of destruction
pushing out birds and butterflies
keeps your conscience up
send your love to the poor animals

magicians put a spell on its axis
hoping that earth could hide destruction of the ozone
nailing a picture frame to a wall
forgetting what picture was in it

babies see the earth through binoculars
always eying the tiniest and living plant
homosapiens can correct vision through glasses
they ignore it thinking it can't get worse

politicians see its a problem solved by just one person
a whole nation change the face
global cooling for future generations
